Md Abul Hasan, PhD is a scholar of International Relations and Regional Studies, having earned his doctoral degree from the National Research University Higher School of Economics (HSE), Moscow, Russia. His academic work focuses on South Asian geopolitics, Bangladesh’s foreign policy, and broader dynamics of international politics, with particular emphasis on the strategic behavior of weaker states in regional and global contexts.
Dr. Hasan’s research explores critical issues such as power competition, regionalism, multipolarity, and geoeconomic transformations in South Asia. His scholarly contributions include numerous publications in nationally and internationally recognized journals, addressing topics such as Bangladesh’s diplomatic strategies, the implications of global power shifts, and the challenges faced by developing states in complex geopolitical environments.
He has actively participated in international conferences, training programs, and academic forums across different countries, strengthening his engagement with global research networks. His academic excellence has been recognized through several awards, scholarships, and certifications, including a prestigious Russian government scholarship.
In addition to his academic work, he serves as the Coordinator of Collaboration and Event Management at the Center for Policy and Social Research (CPSR), where he contributes to building institutional partnerships, organizing academic events, and fostering research collaboration.
