He obtained his PhD in Politics and Social Science from Gazi University and completed both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Public Administration at the University of Dhaka.

His research lies at the intersection of Islamic political thought, Islamism, governance, and comparative politics, with particular regional focus on the Middle East and North Africa, South Asia, and Türkiye. His publications reflect both theoretical inquiry and applied governance analysis, covering topics such as local government systems, authoritarian resilience, and policy developments in areas like artificial intelligence governance.

He is the author of Erdoğan: The Change Maker, which became a bestseller in Bangladesh in 2018, along with another academic book and numerous journal articles and opinion pieces. In addition, he has contributed to international academic conferences and forums, presenting research across diverse geopolitical contexts.
