Muhammad Salah Uddin is an Assistant Professor in the Department of International Trade and Logistics. Prior to this appointment, he served as a researcher at the University of Foggia, Italy, where his work was funded under the Italian Ministerial Decree No. 247 of February 23, 2022. His academic specialization lies in Political and Financial Economy (L18), reflecting a strong interdisciplinary foundation in economics and policy research.

Mr. Uddin is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Economics at Sakarya University, Türkiye. He holds a second M.A. in Economics from Ibn Haldun University, Istanbul, and previously earned both a Master of Social Science (MSS) and a Bachelor of Social Science (BSS) in Economics from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh.

In addition to his academic pursuits, Mr. Uddin serves as the Director of Administration, HR, and Operations at the Center for Policy & Social Research (CPSR) in Istanbul, where he plays a key role in institutional management, strategic coordination, and research support.

Before transitioning fully into academia, he gained over five years of professional experience as a credit analyst in the banking sector, providing him with valuable practical insights into financial systems and economic analysis.

His research interests include political economy, financial systems, international trade, and development economics. He has contributed to academic scholarship through regular publications and presentations at both national and international conferences, including in Türkiye, Italy, Portugal, Spain, and Saudi Arabia.

With a dynamic combination of academic, professional, and administrative experience, Mr. Uddin is well-positioned to make meaningful contributions to teaching, research, and institutional development.
